Privacy Policy

Code Awake is designed as a small local macOS utility. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Overview

Code Awake helps keep your Mac awake from the macOS menu bar. The app does not require an account and is not designed to collect personal information.

Data Collection

Code Awake does not collect, sell, or share personal data. App preferences, such as awake mode and launch-at-login settings, are stored locally on your Mac.

Network Activity

Core awake functionality runs locally. If you choose to open an external link, such as a support or donation page, that website is handled by your browser and may follow its own privacy practices.

Usage and Device Responsibility

Code Awake gives you manual control over macOS awake behavior, including supported closed-lid workflows. You are responsible for how you use the app and for making sure your Mac is operated in a safe environment with suitable ventilation, power, and hardware conditions.

Because thermal behavior, external displays, chargers, accessories, and closed-lid operation can vary by device and setup, Code Awake is provided as a utility tool only. Artem Svitelskyi and Code Awake are not responsible for overheating, hardware damage, data loss, or other issues that may result from device setup, closed-lid use, or prolonged unattended operation.
